Antique Brook & Son Edinburgh Jewellery Presentation Box, c.1900–1910

Antique jewellery presentation box by Brook & Son, Goldsmiths to the King, 87 George Street, Edinburgh.

The case has a burgundy red textured exterior with rounded corners, a cream satin-lined lid and a deep blue velvet fitted interior. The inside of the lid is printed with the Brook & Son name, royal crown, royal appointment wording and Edinburgh address. The velvet base has a central oval-shaped fitted recess. The box closes with a small push-button clasp. 101.R
