The inside lid is stamped G. Carter, Watchmaker & Jeweller, 47 Victoria St., Crewe.

Small square ring box with cream satin lining to the lid and pale blue velvet ring compartment. The exterior has a black leather finish with gilt line decoration around the edges and a front push-button clasp.
