Antique jewellery presentation box from Maurice Moses, the London goldsmith, silversmith and diamond mounter who traded at 464 Oxford Street, W.
The case has a dark brown leather exterior with decorative gilt tooling around the border. Inside is the original deep green velvet fitted base and pale silk-lined lid.
The raised central velvet fitting has a narrow opening designed to accommodate a ring or small brooch. 86.B

Condition
Very good antique condition with age-related wear. The gilt Maurice Moses retailer’s stamp is faded but remains identifiable. The clasp is present and the case closes securely. Please examine all photographs as part of the condition description.
