Rare vintage Lauscha mermaid glass decanter set, Germany, circa early 20th century.
The set includes a matching decanter with stopper and six stemmed glasses. Each piece is made from translucent green hand-blown glass with red swirl decoration. The glasses are supported by sculptural white mermaid-form stems, with matching white figural decoration to the decanter stopper.
The decanter has a tall green glass body, white applied handle, red line decoration, and a figural stopper topped with a red star. The six glasses repeat the same green, white, and red colour scheme, making this a complete and highly decorative set.
