Vintage Carr’s Sterling Silver Photo Frame, Birmingham 1995, Ornate Floral Design

Vintage English sterling silver photograph frame by Carr’s of Sheffield Ltd, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1995.

The frame has an ornate shaped border with embossed floral, leaf and scroll decoration, together with polished cartouche-style sections at the top and bottom. The reverse is finished in dark velvet and fitted with a hinged easel stand for tabletop display.

Hallmarks include the RC sponsor’s mark for Carr’s of Sheffield Ltd, Birmingham anchor, lion passant for sterling silver, and date letter V for 1995. 15.B
