Vintage David Andersen Jewellery Box – Red Norwegian Presentation Case

Vintage red jewellery presentation box by David-Andersen, marked inside the lid:

The long rectangular case has a red exterior with a gilt border to the lid, cream satin lining and a pale fitted interior with a central retaining loop. The case retains its long rear hinge and front push-button fastening. 81.R

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The red exterior shows light surface marks, the gilt border remains visible, the cream interior has light age-related discolouration and wear. The David-Andersen retailer mark is clear and legible. The hinge and front fastening are present.
