Vintage Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Floral Photo Frame Birmingham 1994

Sterling silver photograph frame in an Art Nouveau revival style, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1994.

The silver front is decorated with flowing floral stems, raised blossoms, scrolling lines and a shaped vacant cartouche at the top. The elongated botanical forms and curved border give the frame a strong Art Nouveau character.

The frame holds a photograph measuring approximately 15 × 10 cm and has a dark fabric-covered reverse with a folding easel stand for tabletop display. 24.B
