Antique Boodle & Dunthorne Ring Box, Liverpool

Antique ring presentation box by Boodle & Dunthorne, Goldsmiths, Lord Street, Liverpool.

The box has a brown textured exterior with gilt-coloured dotted border decoration, a cream satin-lined lid and a fitted black velvet base with a central ring slot. The interior retains the original Boodle & Dunthorne retailer’s inscription. Boodle & Dunthorne was the historic Liverpool jewellery firm later known as Boodles. 110.B

Measurements: Approximately 4 × 4 × 3.5 cm / 1.57 × 1.57 × 1.38 inches.

Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear, the black velvet shows wear around the ring slot, and the cream satin lining has some age-related marks. The retailer’s inscription remains readable. Please refer to the photographs for full condition details.
