A charming and finely executed antique French floral painting dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890–1905.
This delicate cabinet-sized composition depicts pink and purple chrysanthemums spilling from a wicker basket, beautifully rendered in watercolour with bodycolour highlights on warm-toned paper.
The work is signed in red paint “A. Euget Barry” and presented in its oval format within an original gilt wooden frame.
