Antique German 800 Silver Myrtle Bridal Crown Tiara With Groom Buttonhole & Original Box
Antique German myrtle bridal crown / wedding tiara with matching groom buttonhole / boutonniere, presented in its original round burgundy box.
This early 20th-century German bridal set is made in delicate 800 silver with hand-formed myrtle leaves, flowers, and fine wirework branches. Both the crown and the matching groom buttonhole are marked 800 silver.
Myrtle bridal crowns were traditionally worn at German weddings and kept afterwards as marriage keepsakes. This set is especially desirable because it includes the bridal crown, matching groom buttonhole, and original presentation box.
The box underside has a handwritten date 09/05/1911 and is stamped D.R.G.M. 277702. D.R.G.M. stands for Deutsches Reichs-Gebrauchsmuster, a German registered design / utility-model protection mark.
