Antique red brooch box by The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd of 112 Regent Street, London W.1.

This small rectangular jewellery presentation box has a red textured exterior with gilt detailing and a fitted cream interior. The narrow recessed section was made to hold a brooch, bar pin or similar item. 

The inside lid is printed with the company name and address, together with the wording “By appointment to H.M. The King” and a heraldic emblem.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Light surface wear, minor rubbing to the gilt decoration and faint marks to the cream lining. Sold without jewellery. R.53
