Antique Hertel Schwab German Bisque Baby Doll 35 cm Made in Germany c.1912

Antique German bisque doll by Hertel, Schwab & Co., dating to around 1912. The head is marked “Made in Germany 152.5” and the body “Made in Germany.”

Details and Features:
Face: Sleeping eyes, finely painted facial features, dimples, double baby chin, and an open mouth with two upper teeth and a molded moving tongue.
Body: Fully jointed composition body with all fingers and toes intact. A slight tear is visible on the front torso, with small chips consistent with age (see photos).
Clothing: Wearing an old dress and underwear, with an old wig — period-appropriate attire.
Measurements: Height 35 cm (≈ 13.7 in), head circumference 24 cm (≈ 9.4 in)

Condition: Very good antique condition. The bisque head is in excellent condition with no visible cracks or repairs. The composition body shows minor age-related wear.
