Antique Italian Micro Mosaic Brooch, Turquoise Floral Gilt Pin, Early 20th Century

Small antique Italian micro mosaic brooch, probably early 20th century, set in a brass or brass-toned metal frame with turquoise-coloured glass cabochons around the border.
The centre has a detailed floral micro mosaic design with white flowers, coloured floral accents, green foliage, and a turquoise border. The outer frame has raised rope-style gilt decoration and a domed form, giving the brooch more presence than many flat souvenir micro mosaic pieces.
The reverse has an early pin fitting and aged gilt metal surface with natural patina.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Light surface wear and patina to the gilt metal, consistent with age. The micro mosaic decoration is well preserved.
