Antique Jewellery Presentation Box, Black Velvet & Red Satin

Antique jewellery presentation box with a black exterior, red satin-lined lid and black velvet fitted interior edged in red.

The rectangular format and broad velvet insert would have been used for presenting or storing a brooch, bar brooch, bracelet, pendant or similar elongated piece of jewellery. The box has a hinged lid and metal front push clasp. No maker or retailer's name is visible.
