Antique Point de Venise Lace Tablecloth & Napkins - Floral Needlepoint - 1880-1920

£550

This antique Point de Venise–style lace tablecloth with 12 matching napkins comes from an old European family estate and dates to the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920)—a time when Venetian needle lace was highly prized by grand households.
Handcrafted with exquisite attention to detail, it features raised floral motifs, geometric patterns, and fine needlepoint fillings, all hallmarks of Point de Venise revival lace.
The tablecloth measures 360 cm × 150 cm (141.7" × 59").
There are no tears or worn areas. I did my best to photograph it in its entirety, but my table measures only 160 × 100 cm, so I couldn’t fully unfold it.
I’ve included several photos showing the small yellowish age spots to help you assess its overall condition.

Casual look (6–8" drop): works on tables around 320–330 × 110–120 cm (126–130" × 43–47").
Examples:
• On 300 × 100 cm (118" × 39"): drop ≈ 30 cm (12") at ends, 25 cm (10") at sides.
• On 320 × 110 cm (126" × 43"): drop ≈ 20 cm (8") all around.
• On 240 × 90 cm (94.5" × 35"): drop ≈ 60 cm (24") at ends and 30 cm (12") at sides for a dramatic banquet look.
