Carr’s Sheffield Sterling Silver Double Photo Frame 1998

Vintage sterling silver double photo frame by Carr’s of Sheffield, hallmarked for Sheffield in 1998.

The frame has an ornate floral and scroll border with two portrait-format photograph openings. The reverse is covered in dark fabric and fitted with a folding easel stand for tabletop display.

Hallmarks include the RC maker’s mark for Carr’s, Sheffield assay mark, lion passant sterling silver mark, lowercase y date letter for 1998, and 925 stamp. 21.B
