Made by KPM Berlin / Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, this piece dates to the 1945–1962 period and is marked with the underglaze blue sceptre mark.
The bowl has a white porcelain body with broad hand-painted gilt bands, gilt finial, and purple monochrome landscape decoration. The decoration shows small architectural and landscape scenes on the body and lid, with birds in flight.
