A Soviet silver bracelet crafted in the 1960s by the renowned Leningrad jewellery factory Russkie Samotsvety (Русские Самоцветы).
The bracelet features a large faceted oval pink glass stone framed in openwork 875 silver, secured by a clasp with safety catch. It is clearly hallmarked with the official Soviet star and hammer & sickle mark, 875 silver fineness, the Moscow assay office mark 59, and the Russkie Samotsvety factory stamp РСЗ.
Russkie Samotsvety was the premier jewellery maker of the USSR, producing export-quality pieces.
