Vintage Garrard & Co Jewellery Presentation Box, Royal Warrant, Regent Street London

Vintage jewellery presentation box by Garrard & Co. Ltd., Goldsmiths and Crown Jewellers, of 112 Regent Street, London W1.
The cream-lined lid bears a crown emblem and the printed inscription:

The box has a burgundy textured exterior with gold-tooled edging, cream fabric lining, deep red velvet fitted interior, hinged lid and push-button clasp.
The raised central velvet fitting and surrounding recesses were designed to secure a small jewellery item or set. 
Garrard moved to 112 Regent Street following its 1952 amalgamation with the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company and remained there until 1998, supporting a second-half 20th-century date for this box. R.25
