Vintage Large Sterling Silver Photo Frame – Toye, Kenning & Spencer, Birmingham 1997

Vintage large English sterling silver mounted photograph frame by Toye, Kenning & Spencer, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1997.

The shaped sterling silver front has an ornate repoussé design with radiating shell and fan motifs, floral decoration, scrolling foliage and a blank cartouche at the top.

The frame has a circular photograph opening with glass and a velvet-covered easel back for tabletop display. Its larger size makes it suitable for a portrait, wedding photograph or family photograph.

The hallmarks include the TKC sponsor’s mark associated with Toye, Kenning & Spencer, lion passant for sterling silver, Birmingham anchor assay mark and date letter X for 1997. 20.B
