The broad, shallow fitted interior is suitable for items such as a brooch, pendant, necklace, bracelet or similar piece, rather than a ring with a dedicated ring slot. The cream satin-lined lid is marked Mappin & Webb Ltd, London, beneath a crown and Royal Warrant wording. 91.B
