Vintage Sterling Silver Double Photo Frame, RBB Sheffield 1987

Vintage British sterling silver double photograph frame, hallmarked in Sheffield in 1987.

The frame has two oval photo openings surrounded by embossed Rococo revival floral, foliate and scroll decoration. The shaped upper section includes a central cartouche-style motif, with further raised ornament around the sides and base.

The reverse is covered in dark fabric and fitted with a folding easel stand. 13.B

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Light surface wear and minor marks consistent with age and previous use. The embossed floral and scroll decoration remains well defined. The dark fabric-covered backing and folding easel stand are present and functional.
