Vintage English sterling silver photo frame, hallmarked in Birmingham in 1997.
The square frame features detailed embossed scrolling, foliate and figural decoration surrounding a circular photograph aperture. It has a velvet-covered back with a freestanding easel support.
Hallmarks include the S S sponsor’s mark, Birmingham anchor, lion passant for sterling silver, and X date letter for 1997. 17.B
